Orders and payment
How do I pay for my order?
You can pay by card, Instant EFT or SnapScan through Payfast, or split the cost into 4 interest free payments with Payflex. Payment is handled securely by the payment provider.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Choose Payflex at checkout to pay in 4 interest free instalments, subject to Payflex approval.
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you track orders and check out faster next time.
Are your prices in rand?
Yes. All prices are shown in South African rand. Delivery, if it applies, is added at checkout before you pay.
Delivery
Do you deliver across South Africa?
Yes. We deliver door to door by courier anywhere in South Africa.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on orders over R2,000. Orders under R2,000 pay a flat courier fee, shown at checkout before you pay.
How do I track my order?
We email you when your order ships. You can also check its status under My account, Orders.
Returns
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us as soon as possible after delivery on WhatsApp (082 728 5235) or at info@docksidemarine.co.za. Keep the item unused and in its original packaging and we will sort it out.
How do returns work?
Faulty and incorrect items are covered in line with the Consumer Protection Act. See our Returns and refunds page for details.
Products and fitment
How do I know which oil my outboard needs?
Check your owner manual. Most water cooled 2 stroke outboards use TC-W3 oil, and most 4 stroke outboards use SAE 10W-40 marine oil. WhatsApp us your engine details if you are unsure.
Which spark plug fits my outboard?
Use the plug number in your manual or printed on the plug already fitted. WhatsApp us the engine make, model and year and we will confirm.
What size ski tube should I buy?
Buy for the largest group you plan to tow at once and check the maximum rider weight on the tube. Always use a tube rope rated for at least that many riders.
What size wakeboard do I need?
Wakeboards are sized mainly by rider weight. Heavier riders need longer boards. WhatsApp us your weight and level for a recommendation.
