Dockside Marine respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or buy from us, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
- Contact and delivery details you give us at checkout or when you contact us: name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
- Order details: the products you buy, order value and order history.
- Account details if you create an account.
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
We do not see or store your full card details. Card and EFT payments are processed securely by Payfast, and instalment payments by Payflex.
How we use your information
- To process, deliver and support your orders.
- To answer questions you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- To send order and delivery updates.
- To send marketing emails only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We only share the information needed to provide our service, with:
- Payment providers (Payfast and Payflex) to process payments.
- Courier and shipping partners to deliver your order.
- Website hosting, email and analytics providers that help us run the store.
